As an Boise area wedding photographer, I have the privilege of capturing love stories in all kinds of settings, from grand venues to intimate backyard ceremonies. Destiny and David’s small backyard wedding in Caldwell was a perfect reminder of why I love what I do. It was simple yet stunning, full of joy, love, and personal touches that made their day unforgettable.
From the moment I met Destiny and David, I knew their wedding day would be special. They are truly the sweetest, kindest people—radiating light and happiness, especially when they’re together. It’s rare to meet a couple so perfectly in sync, and their love for each other is nothing short of contagious.
One of my favorite moments from their day was their first look. It was unlike any I’ve ever photographed! Destiny, in her playful and bubbly way, greeted David by grabbing him by the keister. It was such a fun, lighthearted moment that perfectly showcased their personalities. They couldn’t contain their excitement, jumping up and down like two kids on Christmas morning. Capturing their joy and genuine connection was an absolute dream.
What made their wedding even more special for me as a photographer was their focus on photos of just the two of them. On most wedding days, the hustle and bustle can make it challenging to carve out time for couple portraits, but Destiny and David made it a priority.
